En occitan, plus simplement, la plupart se terminent en <strong>-an<\/strong> (Ovelhan, Robian, Bisan). Mais Aigne fait exception (Anha).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le sobriquet des Anh\u00f2ls\u00a0 est <strong>Cagar\u00f3s<\/strong> (foireux), \u00e0 cause de la rime Anha \/ caganha, ou plus g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement <strong>Cagarauli\u00e8rs<\/strong> (ramasseurs d&rsquo;escargots). C\u2019est s\u00fbrement \u00e0 cause du Cagar\u00f2l, en effet, Aigne est constitu\u00e9e d\u2019une circulade, rue principale unique qui s\u2019enroule jusqu\u2019au c\u0153ur du village, une circulade dont sont fiers les Aignois, un\u00a0 <strong>Cagarol<\/strong> ou <strong>Cagarou<\/strong>\u00a0comme ils aiment \u00e0 l\u2019appeler.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u2018Per veire lo cagarau, cal totjorn passar per lo m\u00e8me trauc.\u2018 (Pour visiter l&rsquo;escargot, il faut toujours passer par le m\u00eame trou, car on y acc\u00e8de par un porche priv\u00e9.)<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Lo cagar\u00f2l ou cagar\u00f2u en occitan, c&rsquo;est l&rsquo;escargot, dont on dit que &lsquo;p\u00f2rta l&rsquo;ostal sus l&rsquo;esquina&rsquo; <em>(il porte sa maison sur le dos)<\/em>. Ce qui est bien pratique car &lsquo;Als cagaraus lo rei met pas de taus.&rsquo; <em>(Aux escargots, le roi n\u2019applique pas de taxe.)<\/em>.L&rsquo;essentiel, c&rsquo;est bien d&rsquo;\u00e9viter de &lsquo;faire coma lo cagar\u00f2l, que canta quand son ostal brutla&rsquo;<em>(faire comme l&rsquo;escargot qui chante quand sa maison br\u00fble.)<\/em>.
